Stanley Kubrick Exhibit at the LACMA

I FINALLY got to go see this exhibit this past weekend (thank you, Paris Photo!). It was amazing, needless to say. He put detail into everything. He also got started as a photographer at the age of 16 by taking a photo of a man at a newspaper stand, looking morose after the death of FDR and sold it to Look Magazine for $25. That I never knew. Very inspiring. He also had many custom-made lenses for his cameras. The man was a true genius. These items should be on display forever, as I'm sure they'll inspire other young artists like myself to do what they want, how they want.
